I was off again today so I did some wrapping, all cabs are about an inch tall. The pics were taken outside in natural "overcast" light (no flash)....... Some sort of brown picture jasper. Brown is one of Cathy's favorite colors so I did this one for her, rock from Jamie....... This is one of my favorite cabs, the rock came from Jamie and I don't know what it is...... Some sort of moss. Another one of my favorite cabs, rock from Jamie (go figure) ;D

Randy, that brown one is wicked neat. The loop in the middle of the cab draws the eye straight to that wind blown tree.

Wow! All are beauties but the first one takes the stage. The colors and the scene are like an old painting.

Thanks ya'll!! I have alot of fun doing these and alot of fun showing them off. I get a kick out of the replies, this is were I get my inspiration!! I'm working the rest of this week, so I probably won't do anymore until this weekend. There's a totally new style that I want to figure out, almost like the Preston Ruether style except that I want the back to look as good as the front.

Some how, these wraps reminded me of the old southern bell skirts swaying in a dance....back and forth. Ya, OK, I don't know why I thought of that, just did. They are beautiful Randy! Fran

Thanks! These are really easy to make with some practice and patience. The hardest part is getting the measurements correct. I do everything by eye now, but this can only be done with the freeforms since both sides don't have to be exactly the same. If you've never wire wrapped before and want to give it a try, Brandywine sells copper wire that acts just like the gold filled wire when bending, and it's very inexpensive. Just be sure to get some decent tools. The sale of one half-way decent wrap will pay off the tools!
