Shannon and Dennis came to visit Chris and I and go do some rock hounding before winter gets here. We spent all day yesterday out in the Owyhees and playing with the wild life. While we were up at our claim Chris came face to face with a buzz worm who didn't want her to pick up that rock that he was guarding, good thing it was still kind of cool and he was a little slow. Looking through the brush for some agate Here is a picture of all of us at the claim. Dennis checking out the ground Shannon trying to decide which one to take home Then we went farther back into the Owyhees and checked out where Jason and I are staking a claim on some jasper we found back there. We stopped and checked out some of the other claims in the area and on one of the claims Shannon met up with another rattler, he was really cold and sluggish, he was ready to strike, but he was too cold to buzz us. We left early in the morning and got home late last night so we kind of slept in this morning and spent the day today playing in the rock pile here. I didn't take any pictures today, but I think Shannon got some. I am having a blast! This is so much fun! Tony

The pictures show you have a very good time together and it looks the weather is helping you too. I'm glad we didn't encounter any rattle snake during our trip. They would had been more speedy in the summer heat.
Have you found some nice rocks? Owyhee sounds good! And the ground in the 3rd and 4th pics looks littered with interesting stuff.
