i have no suggestions but i would like to know what identification books you guys have found to be the best out there. i just printed out a 4 page list of books on mineral, rock and fossil identification and field guides. that overwhelmed me to look at such a list so i'd like to know what ya'll recommend. i'd like to get 2 or 3 books but have no idea where to start after looking at this list. something with pictures! it can have words too ;D.
thanks, kim

Is this all rough rock or has it been tumbled? I am fairly sure that you have enough for "trading stock" I think that you will get a few offers, if you are interested.

Rocky Im going to take pics. as soon as I can. And for the size of the rocks they are rough and ranging from 3x3 inch size to 7x7. some have been cut so I can tell that there is flame agate, moss agate, green, black, and I think red obsidian. Also several pieces of pet. wood, turetilla agate, crazy lace agate, blue lace agate. But there are alot more that I have no idea
