This was a gift from Fran ("frane") - I'm not sure what to call it - Mary Ellen jasper, St. John's Flower agate, or something entirely else. The spots that look like impact chips are not - they are some milky-white inclusions internal to the stone. Fran did a wonderful job of tumble-polishing this preform and I just hope I've done it justice with my wrapping. Thanks, Fran! It's really a pretty stone! Front Back Thanks, Tom

Tom, You did a great job with that wrap, you have come a long way in your wrapping!!!!!!!Fran makes a darn nice cab, so I am sure it is even more beautiful in person!!!! Amber

That really looks nice Tom! If I remember correctly, I thought that was a bot when I cut it open but it had a lot of mossy stuff at one side and it was kind of purple & red in that area. The solid white areas seemed to be a bit fragile and would undercut at times. Your wrap really frames it great! Fran
