Smaller than a dime Even smaller than that!! Bigger tumbled stone...not sure what it is These 2 came from the same rock, I believe it is hematite...not sure what the orange is, probably iron...but really cool lookin'! Thanks for lookin'!!

Very nicely done, it is good to see smaller stones wrapped with out being overwhelmed. Good job. Debby and Tom

Dang, Marie - I don't think I'll ever be able to do that - I can't wrap what I can't see, and stones that small I can't see if I'm holding them in my fingers!
Those all look great - just the right amount of wrapping for the stone. Your wraps keep on getting tighter and tighter and more precise - pretty darn nifty!

You did great on them. Since I can't pick a favorite, I'll say #2 was my least favorite. Didn't look as 'tight' as the others. But great job - you have far more talent than I.

Thanks everyone!! The first few were not easy, cuz they were so small, but I did finally get them done! Had to work up my nerves just to try the small ones! LOL The last ones were a bit easier, bigger stones and all. Wait till ya see what I am trying later this week!!

Amber, I am using 22 gauge copper wire. I cannot afford to buy silver or gold at this time, so copper it is. That stuff is so-oo stinkin expensive! I like to experiment with it, so therefor I waste a bit, I can almost afford to do that with this stuff, and I think it wraps just as pretty as the "real" stuff, it's just different colored is all. I have this thing in my head that tells me not to spend that kind of money on wire, when I don't really have a way to sell the stuff....unless by some miracle a craft show comes about in the future. But otherwise that expensive wire just sits there, and for me at least, it would be wasted. I have sold some of these, and while I don't charge but 5.00 a piece for them, and I won't get rich doin' it this way, it keeps me busy. You know the old saying "idle hands", well, I can't be idle too long!! So I buy what will give me the most for the money, and keep me busier...... longer!! I have to be thrifty, not much choice in the matter. The small ones? yeeeeaaahhhh....well, it wasn't seeing them I had trouble with, it was making my fat fingers control the wire! LOL Marie

Great job on some very small cabs!! And you got the most important part about small wraps..don't over power the stone...which is hard when the stone is the size of a pea, lol. Tony
