I have a need for several slabs of all black material. Hardness doesn't matter but I prefer obsidian. Please send me a pm if you have any you want to part with. Thanks.
Forgot to mention that they don't have to be pure black. I'll just tint the epoxy. Also thinner is better.

Tony,
Does it have to be slabs? I have both black obsidian and Basanite (perfect for doublets) but I only have rough.

I'd prefer slabs because they are going to be used for doublets and I don't have a flat lap so the saw cut edge has to be good. I'm not good enough with the Workforce to cut them flat enough. If I don't hear from anyone else I'll be contacting you. Thanks Shannon.

Hmmmmm, I have a nice chunk, can't remember where I got it. Oh, you gave it to me. ;D .... I have a few nice chunks of black obsidian and some other black stuff. My new blades are on the way, as soon as they get here I'll cut some slabs for ya. How thick approx?

Thanks all, I've had several offers and should have plenty now.
Randy, that piece I gave you is Davis Creek Rainbow Obsidian and its way too pretty to be used as backing for doublets. Why haven't you sliced that yet? Get with it man. lol It should make some very pretty cabs.

Ahhhh, rainbow, that's right. I do, however, have some solid black obsidian and some other black stuff.
