Looks great Tom! I think gold looks fine with that stone. I haven't commented on here in a bit but wanted to let you know you have made outstanding progress. I like your style a lot and you're doing a great job. The only issue I see with this one is that there may be problems with how it hangs when put on a chain. I think the second picture is the example to look at. Because of where the bail is located, the weight of the stone should make it want to hang at the exact angle of the second pic. The issue is then that the bail will be coming up at that angle. I guess the way to go is have the bail angled back left a bit to create a center or to have placed the bail in the center of the curved area (which would look weird unless the wire on the right came off the stone a bit... nevermind . Of course, this is me trying to do physics in my head (scary thought) so I may be way off here. If I'm wrong, disregard the above Not trying to be a downer, just putting something out there to keep in mind in the future.
