Hi Marie, you're making my cabs look awfully good. My favorite stone? The 2nd pic. That's a beauty. My favorite wrap? The mahogany obsidian. That wrap is really cool. I've got to figure out how you did that loop on the bottom left. ;D jo

Good ones, Marie! I think I like the first and last ones the best. The little loops on the first one look like part of the jewel instead of like they just happened to end up there (like all of mine look!). Great designs in your wraps. I do b envious!

I love looking at your threads. Not only are your wraps beautiful but you offer many at a time.
In the sixth one down, did you mimick the circle in the stone with the circular wire right next to it on purpose? That is really alluring. They are all great but that one is my fav.

Marie: They all look great, but I like 5,6 and 7 best!!! Love the little leaf effect on 5, very pretty! Amber

Sitnwrap - sometimes when I am working with the wire, things just happen, and sometimes I try reall hard to make something in the stone more focused by placing the wire in a certain way....this one, the obsidian? (that's the one you are talking about right?) I was trying to show off the stone a little more. Amber - I saw that leaf effect somewhere, not aure where... Who knows with me, but it hit me that it would look good in a wrap, so I tried it! Jo- the wires for the loop at the bottom are brought around from the back side of the stone, all at once, then I figured out where I wanted the loop to be, I looped all 3 wires all at once. The cabs are all awesome to begin with...how could a person possibly make them look any better? That 2nd stone is one I found in the "back yard" quite some time ago.....great lookin laker I thought! AND it tumbled up really nice as well! Hey Tom....this is easier than it looks really...trust me!!! Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the nice stuff you are saying!! Makes me feel like I might be an official wrapper one of these days!! Marie

Think I'm liking the 1st one best. - don't see anything second rate about any of them. And you are officially a wrapper.

I'm really liking this batch alot, especially #4 and 5, and the last two. Your designs flow with the stones and look clean. It took me two years to get my binds looking like yours do, great job on all of them!!

Thanks Randy and Toad!! I appreciate the confidence builders! I guess I think that when my wraps compare to Randy's I will be an offical wrapper!! lol Until then...I am a practicing fool....with lots of crazy ideas in my head! I am almost afraid to buy expensive wire.....with all this stuff rolling around in my head! LOL At least this stuff I can almost afford all those wads of trial and errors I have thrown away! LOL Thanks again guys.....I REALLY do appreciate it!! Marie

They don't look like seconds to me Marie. You've really taken to wire! Great job!

How the heck do you hold on to tumbled rocks while wrapping?!?!?
They're so darn slippery and you're doing a great job to boot!

Thanks Steve!! Jeri - holding on to the tumbles has posed an issue for me as well, but as most people have probably figured out about me.....sometimes my stubborness and determination outweigh everything else....forcing me to keep doing it until I get it! LOL Some of them have shapes that NEVER allow me to wrap them...usually what I would consider to be prettier than most others....(murphy's law)...so I have to move on to a different stone. I only recently started to wrap the tumbles...and it is sometimes very challenging on my nerves! LOL
