Marie - ......
Stunning designs in your wraps!
#5 - interesting and very pleasing the way you did the double-crossover.
#7 - very cool how the draped wires match the banding in the stone.
#9 - neat wrap for a long, tall one. Are the side wires sturdy enough to keep the stone from slipping out?
I also like what I think I see - combination of brass and copper?
Very sophisticated work, Marie!
Tom
(PS - I promise, there are more cabs coming - just that "life" gets in the way sometimes and slows down what I REALLY want to be doing instead!)

Hey Tom - Thanks!! yep those wires are sturdy, (#9) that pretty rock aint a goin nowhere! #5 - well, that was something else, I could not see a way that curlies and foofoo would actually work well, so that's what happened with the wires instead! LOL - #7 - I try to do this when I have a stone with patterns in it that I can follow with the wire. Brian - Thanks!!

Love your creativity. Like the 1st one best, followed by the real tall one.

Marie, You're making my cabs look much better than I had any right to hope. You really know how to bring out the best in them. Thanks so much. Jo

Very elegant pendants, the wires flow so naturally in all of them. My favorites are no. 7 and no. 10.

Very nicely done, if we had to pick a favorite, we would pick the first 13. Debby and Tom

Nice job Marie. I also like the flow of your work. If your cake-baking is keeping up with your wire wrapping, you're making a lot of cakes! My favorite stone is #1 and the favorite wrap is #7.

Thanks everyone! I am sure glad I kept trying to get this down...as I am loving making them. Garry - when we lived in Texas it was nothing for me to make $300-$400 a week doing birthday cakes. Since we moved up here 3 years ago, not so many, but it is steadily picking up. (I don't advertise anything) I now have this hobby keeping me very busy! Between the WF, hunting the rocks, grinding them down, and wrapping.........It's amazing to me how fast time flies! B-4 I know it another week has gone, and winter is comin'......fast. BUT...time do fly when yer havin' fun! Thanks again everyone!! Marie
