Jack, When I 1st got into rocks...i was really in love with the Black Rock Thundereggs. Out of all the different varieties of T-Eggs....these types really appealed to me. I guess it's because of the Black Agate that each one contain. You have some Beauts!!! Toad....Black Rock is from the location these are found. Black Rock Desert, Nevada. Steve

Thanks, Steve. Those are some nice eggs, no matter what they're called.

Beautiful stuff. If I bought a ton there's no place to keep them in my little suburban condo and I suspect my wife would be close to making me homeless. She's patient with my little obsessions but not that patient.

So just out of curiousity how much space does a ton of thundereggs take up? By my reckoning, about a cubic meter/yard or so- give or take.

Wow if I piled another cubic meter of stuff around here I might be living in the garage. Can't do that because I'm going to look at a 10 foot bench with all the grinding/polishing stages on it and I need the garage space for it. I think I'll just have to keep bringing stuff home a rock or two, a pail or two and a box or two at a time for now.

Kevin,
Black rock thunder eggs are very hard to get i paid a lot for the ton, And the wife knew it was coming home and the yard look`s a lot better with the art, 30-50% of all my earnings from rock Goes right back into stock, Though finding good rough is getting slim.
