I got down to pick up the mail today and got the package from my trade with Shannon. All I have to say is thank you so much Shannon. The pendant is absolutely stunning. My wife and I both love the wrap and stone. That is one awsome shine on the agate. Also thats some pretty nice packing material.

Todd,
Ochoco green moss agate from Oregon. Im not a green person generally but I absolutely adore this material.
You are very welcome Scott, sorry it took so long!!! This little pendant was in trade for the Moonstone "bug" that I got from him.

Man, Shannon done you right! That is a terrific cab, and the setting/wrap is nifty. Also wondering about the prongs...how were they done?

As requested, here are a couple of photos of how I do the prong wraps.....on a different stone. The little "S" hanging from the back is my little signature that I add to pieces that are given to family members. Shan

Beautiful work, we like them both. Interesting way to wrap. Learn something every day. We will have to try a gem stone that way. Debby and Tom

WOW! Great stone and prong wrap too! This type of prong wrap is not as easy as it looks. Being precise is the key. Also, if you leave the bottom wires and the bail wires undone, you can attach the stone to a bracelet form...or any other type of form you may have created. Makes great earrings too...just remember to have an uneven number of wires so the middle one can be the one you make the loop to have the earring finding on. ;D Also, I would only use this type of setting on smaller stones. Larger ones need more prongs for them to be stable. This is so cool...I haven't used this setting in a long time. OOOOh, it is also GREAT for stones that have rough tops...like druzys and such.
