Just finished up my second ring. The first is the one on the left, a golden moonstone, I did that one yesterday. Tonight I did the Amazonite/Moonstone (Perthite) that is on the right. They are both comfortable to wear. The one I did tonight took me about two and a half hours. I may make some adjustments/improvements, but all in all I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks for looking! Jo

Thanks! Okay, but let me do a few more and work out the bugs before I go to print on a tutorial, okay? Still got some ideas I want to test out.

Jo, those are really cool! I can't get my mind around the weaving on the green one - about the 2nd weave and my wire would look like Fibber McGee's closet!

LOL. Tom, think of it this way: By using two strands of half round binding wire, alternate wrapping two square wires (both use the middle), and keeping it real consistent. Almost anything will look good to some extent as long as you are consistent in your technique!

Jo, you are a professional ring maker! The one with the simple prongs would be impossible to guess it's wrapped, it really looks like a classy piece of jewelery. The other one is also perfectly done and beautiful, WOW!

Wow, I liked your first one - but the stone in the second is even better.

I have trouble with that weave too, tried and tried, but it always winds up looking like mangled wire! Yours looks great! Marie

Thanks all. Fran, yep, they are comfortable! I've worn the first one for two days now and I want to work out the snagging problem, which isn't bad, but it did happen once on me. That's why I rounded the prongs on the second.
Marie, after you do each side, you have to switch your wires in order for it to look better. I've got two pendants to do tonight and then I will attempt another ring or two and will take pics as I go. Meanwhile, my brain is working out the remaining bugs.
I can't take credit for the band on the second one, I saw it in someone else's work first.

Those are great, Jo! I love the design on them - they aren't your typical wrapped rings. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Jo, I missed this one, I love your second ring, the design is great, I think that might be one of the best I have seen. I admire your creativity I think in wire wrapping I have gone blank. Donna
