Yes maam, that's some beautiful country up there at certain times of the year. Just think, in just a few short weeks, everything in those pictures will be white. And cccccccccccooooooooollllllllldddddd! ;D

Randy, are you talking about the weeds here?
Tom, Just makes us snowbirds appreciate the emergence of spring all the more! (plus it makes our Christmas carols seem more authentic, LOL)

Beautiful colour ... but it's a small consellation for the 4 to 6 months of Hell to follow. Snow is the downfall of most rock hounds and the change of colour always marks the end of hunting season. Sniff!

Jo: What a fabulous day we had today! 65 degrees on 11/15??? I am loving it, maybe the snow will miss us this year!!!! I do love the change of colors though and some of the sunsets lately have been lovely! Amber

Yep, some years we have Spring down here, too - usually, about 4 days in March ...... LOL! Followed immediately by Summer, of course - we tend to go from 40 to 85 inside a week. That's what passes for "seasons" here in South Texas!

Amber, wasn't tonight's sunset beautiful?
Don't know about you guys, but I still plan to hound this winter.

I thought your woods were on fire... never seen any of that .We stay green here in Florida, the only fall we have is when the banana trees burn due to a frost of 35 degrees then they turn yellow and then brown.

We have a Son back in Aberdeen Proving Grounds taking an armor course. He told us that the colors of Fall are beautiful. Debby and Tom

Beautiful photos, Jo! I really like those reds. Most of the trees out here in Washington state are "naked" by now. First they turn color, and then the rain beats them off the trees. Our driveway looks like you're driving through a bowl of (wet) Cornflakes or Wheaties!
