Randy I don't know what happened the picture turned up on your post sorry. I guess you will have to modify Please. I am putting away the wire wrapping because I am stale, I no longer can look at one of my wraps and be happy at how it looks. Maybe I will go take some advanced classes. Or maybe go back to weaving baskets. Anyway it dosen't make me happy anymore. Thanks for looking. Donna (Maybe it could be I have done about 100 wraps in the last two months and I am burned out.)

100 wraps in 2 months will definitely burn you out. I did 36 in a week before the summer, and didn't feel like touching the wire ever again!! ...and then someone came along with 30 more cabs and some money. ;D Your cabs look great. I'm in a rut now, I am starting to feel like all of my wraps look the same, with a different color rock. I've got some new ideas, just have to wait for my thumb to heal before I can wrap again.

Oh Donna, this post makes me happy and sad! You do such beautiful work, but I know how I am with cabbing, I have to take breaks from it from time to time, so I do understand! Well as long as is it is not forever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take a breather and you might find you miss it again! They all look lovely to me, and I never look at your wraps and think they all look the same, except that I think they all look fabulous! Amber

The first is my fav too. Donna, pat yourself on the back, you put in a great year and now it's time to rest your wire wrappin' fingers so you can come back at it all refreshed and recharged with new inspiration!
Can't wait to see what you and Randy have in store for us when you get your fingers (and thumbs) back into it!!!!

Those are all nice wraps. Even if they don't make you happy, I'm sure they will make somebody else happy. It sounds like you deserve a well-earned break. The first one is my favorite too - I haven't seen one like that before. Garry

Love the first cab and the last wrap is my fav. Hey...you weave baskets? There are some great jewelry pieces made from weaving wire the same way. INfact, I got some ideas from a basket weaving site for weaving wire. Get some cheap wire and give it a shot. Gorgeous bracelets and necklaces can be made. I pretty much took a break this year...only am now getting back to making some stuff. When my dog died, I just didn't feel like creating anymore. I did design some stuff, but I didn't feel like making it. Enjoy your time off. Hugs, Nancy F

Thanks for all your comments, I just got 4 stones in the mail today to wrap for a customer (friend) now I have to go buy some more gold wire. Some really pretty stones. Yes Nancy I enjoy baskets and took basket weaving classes, they are part of nature and I enjoy putting my rocks in them ;D I have seen a lot of the wire weaving and hate it, too much wire and not enough stone. I have seen just around the bail weaved and it looked nice, it just isn't for me. I also need to do some cabs and come more skilled, I have some great rocks. Maybe Randy's new designs will inspire me. Thanks Donna

Been there Donna and haven't been back. Maybe one of these days, but for me, it just got to be the same old thing.
That first one is awesome!
