We have a small kitty litter box of this jet and i was wondering if you can use it to back cabs like when you'all do the doublet? Whenever we do a show ralph wants all the rock to weigh like this does............ its very very light. lol

Hardness of 2.5-4. Very soft......I wouldnt use it as a doublet backing. Part of the reasoning behind a backing is that it provides stability to the much thinner top portion of a doublet so if the back piece is prone to breakage, it might ruin an otherwise nice piece. It probably can be done, I just wouldnt chance it. The stuff is a mess to cab as well.
