Congrats Frane, looks like a really nice house. Out here in Northern Calif, that house would sell for $700k these days. I know exactly how you are feeling right now, we bought our first house 2 1/2 years ago and we still haven't finished unpacking!

Thanks everyone! Yes Jo, those are horses across the street. There are several places on the street where they have horses and I find that so enjoyable to watch! Makes me feel further away from the city than we really are! Fran

See, there was a reason you couldn't get a house in your old area. Looks like a very large house. If you don't mind, what's the sq. ft.? Our house is also ranch-style with hardwood floors on a crawlspace. Darn the floors are cold! Hopefully your crawlspace is well insulated. Congrats! Later, jeri

It is 2400 sq ft. and the inspector said there was a lot of insulation under the floor so I hope it will be fine in the winter. If not, we will remedy that. Fran

Alright Fran...I'm Happy for You! Nothing better than owning your own home. Plenty of space and the enclosed patio looks perfect for a rock workshop. Steve
