Hi everybody! I took pics of my genie set-up and my wire-wrapping space. My wife uses the wire station for her silversmithing. Gosh, I didn't think my windows were that dirty. Reminds me of how scratches on my cabs show so clearly in photos. Rock cutting Wire/silver work Geoff

Fran, I made the polishing station. I had the motor and switch, bought the lighted hood and mounted them on a piece wood. It works ok but it's not really powerful enough. I'll replace the motor at some point.
Mike, sunlight sure helps. I have thought about moving to my basement (so my wife can hear herself think when I grind), but the view keeps me upstairs. I just grind when my wife's not home.

Nice set-up. If you can get rid of flaws in sunlight, they won't show anywhere else.

Hey Geoff, love your grinder area! It looks like the top of my grinder, only mine is flat across the entire length, more space to fill with half done cabs or ones ready to start. I think work areas should have slanted tops so you can't let things pile up!!!!!!

No foot soaking for me Amber, my wife uses that. Well, she used it once and it has sat there for a few years The California sun sure is nice, it's 65 and sunny today, woo hoo!! ;D ;D
