I've been so busy lately I haven't had much time for wrapping, but I did manage to whup out these 2 in the last couple days. Both of them were "PS"es after I had cut the big cab from my one slab of Owyhee. I like the first one of these better. Front Back This one I grooved and wrapped with brass wire, bound with some black wire I found at Michael's hobby supply store - I've seen what Marie (superioragates) has been doing with black wire, thought I'd give it a go. Problem is, I don't have Marie's artistic talent! Front Back Thanks for looking, y'all! Tom

Nice stuff. I just purchased a glass grinder and a groove bit on ebay, soon I will be "groovin".

Tom: THe problem with the black wire is that it is so big! I really like the black for men's wraps, but can't find it in smaller gauges,AC Moore and Michaels has 18 which is really too big. Someone told me to check out parawire, I think www.parawire.com, they are suppose to have different sizes and colors and the kind that doesn't chip. Usually the stuff I have gets nicked from the tools and then I fill it in with a sharpie. The silver ones look great! Amber

Amber, I got the black wire at Michael's - it's 20ga. and feels like electrical wire - in other words, it sure is NOT "half-hard"!!!
