There is green obsidian near Burns Oregon, which is close to Glass Buttes...........known as Burns green, some of it has blue steaks through it. Your Mexican piece is really nice, slabb that puppy up so we can see it better. Woody

Woody - I'll have to get a picture of the Burns Green to show folks who have never seen it. I have several pieces of it which I got from Emory. Unlike the picture shown here which has the green "sheen" - Burns Green actually has a olive/army green colored base glass. Very cool - and expensive material!
