As you all know I asked Amber to make me some cabs for Christmas gifts...now that I am pretty used to the square wire, I decided it was time to get them wrapped. Again I would like to thank Amber for doing this for me. Here they are: For my daughter For my mother-in-law For my sister in law & brother in law And these are a few dremel cabs I wrapped up. Hope ya like them! Thanks for lookin'! Marie

Marie: You did a super job wrapping those, I am glad to see you using the good wire. I really like the obsidian wrap, are they little gold beads on top? Very nice work!!!! It is chilly here, so I am loving my afghan!!! Who is getting the big red buckle? Is that for hubby?

Marie, those are all outstanding! I hope you ordered a LOT of the silver wire, because if I wrapped at the same rate as you, I'd be out of wire in just a day or maybe 2! You are really getting quickly to the "expert" level - you seem to have developed a particular "style" that's all your own. Very, very nice! Tom

Randy - Thanks!! Jo- I am getting used to it, but it's sure different then what I am used to! As you can see, I am having a bit of trouble with the bottoms of the stones, but the pics kind of magnify that a bit, it really isn't that bad when just looking at them with the naked eye. This will def. take some getting used to. They sent me round wire for my bails, not 1/2 round, so I figure I'll use that up, instead of complaining. Have no time now to wait for diff. stuff to get here. And I can def. say this : I do not like the 1/2 hard wire at all, maybe at some point I will get used to it, but for right now, I do not like it! Maybe it's just me, but it does not like to cooperate with me at all. I would much rather work with dead soft!! LOL Thanks again guys! You've given me confidence enough to mail them to their respectful new owners! Marie

The first one is my favorite! You are doing a fine job with your curves too. Those cabs can be slippery...I use tape to center them when they are so slippery. ;D
