Hi, and thanks Donna ;D I finished this about 15 minutes ago, took me exactly one hour. I don't know what the stone is, I got a nice chunk of it from Jamie. Anyhow, I wrapped it in argentium sterling silver. Check it out.....

That is niiice!! How do you avoid nicking the wire? The curves and curls are so smooth!

Yet another Randy masterpiece! Gorgeous stone and wrap. Would like to know what the stone is called - it's really different-looking.

How did you keep from going nuts, if you weren't wrapping? Looks like you haven't lost your touch Tony

Love that stone and wrap Randy and glad to see you back wrapping again. Boy you haven't lost your touch or your speed. It's beautiful testament that your thumb is better.

Randy, how the heck are you able to wrap so perfectly with that cut finger? Do I have to cut my thumb too, to wrap like you? ;D

Thanks y'all! Adrian- I wouldn't recommend it, it really hurts! lol mc2- I do 90% of my wraps by hand, using tools only to cut with. There are just two curves on this one that were done with a tool, the two small loops at the end of those two wires that come down in front of the cab. At first I was really careful about not nicking the wires, and now I don't even think about it. The only advice I can give it that the less you use tools, the less chance of marring the wires. Oh- I also use the flat nosed pliers to "gently" crimp the binding wires.

Well ya really balanced that irregularly shaped cab with that wire. Looks like the ole thumb is in good working condition!
