Tom and Deb (montanamuscrat) were my Secret Santas this year. Firstly, they sent an awesome letter showing pics of their wonderful family, gorgeous Montana scenery, some rock hounding and gold panning excursions, a baby elk that they found themselves, and their new 5th wheel (you guys, we bought the same 5th wheel just last summer!) Guess what the first thing I saw was... homemade goodies! Vanilla caramels! Chocolate walnut fudge! Almond cookies! and... Banana bread! Deb, my boys, Bill and I dug into them right away! Dee-lisch-eeee-ussss! Our taste-buds and tummies say thank you. There were some cool volcanic rock specimens, agate and jasper collected from the ranch where Tom grew up.... and some awesome slabs. Then, there were some polished Montana beauties. Cabs & tumbles, OH SO LOVELY, and WHAT A SHINE! Here are some close-ups: Love this one. and backlit These two were huge gorgeous tumbles. Tom, do you guys have a 3-ton tumbler or did the river polish these? And here is my Christmas card from Deb and Tom with my favorite tumble. Isn't it great? Check out the color and patterning in this rock (showing both sides). Thank you so much Deb and Tom. You have a beautiful family. I know you are so proud of Erin's service for our country and of handsome Sean. Your warm extension of kindness and generosity brightened my Christmas and I will definitely show and tell what I do with your beautiful material. Thank you Shannon for all your work in making this possible and for doing such a great job! Jo

You are welcome. We loved this idea and were glad to participate. We would hope you would cut that big blue stone into cabs and maybe split the geods also. The geods often contain agates and crystal druzy. Your favorites were also our favorites. Hope to see you out prospecting, we have some good places. Have a wonderful prosperous, healthy and happy New Year. Debby and Tom

Ooooh, thanks for the tip on the geodes. I'll try to get at 'em in the new year. Yep, was thinking the same thing about that blue with the great lines in it. Thanks again! And thanks everyone about your kind comments! Jo
