This may be in the wrong category. My apologies, if so. Rather than buy a crimp on bail, I thought I would see if I could make one of my own to attache these little crosses I made and glued in the ring. This is the prototype, and it is a bit too long. Thought I would post this for feedback, see what ya'll think. Thanks; Mike

I think it is GREAT! A tad too long yes...you only need about 3 wraps above and below the bead...but the over all concept is fabulous. You might want to remove some of that glue too. Glue globs are a little unsightly. You get an A for neatness on that beaded bail...way to go!

The bail looks awesome! .... First two things that I notice are the excess glue and the eye isn't centered.

lol!! Yea, I am still working on the drilling part. Using those little diamond drills, with the flat ends, I am letting it walk off center a bit as I start the hole. I have just recently figured out that I was probably using too high a speed on the dremel, I drilled a couple of holes in some other stones using a little slower speed. It was a lot more manageable. Thanks for the feedback. I had completely missed the excess glue! Gonna go practice some more now!!
