So I've got access to a 'vibrator' made for a water bed :cheesy:
In any case, I have access to this thing that's supposed to vibrate a water bed, and I'm wondering how I can tell if it's got enough power to be used as a motor for a vibratory tumbler (that and if it vibrates fast enough). It's got 3 speeds on it's switch.
I followed that thread about the person making one out of a toilet plunger and thought I could maybe do something similar...

Try to find a wattage/hp on the motor, also whether it is thermaly protected or not. If it is thermaly protected and about 1/16th HP then it will be about right for a 3lb tumbler, IIRC.
