went to recharge and the bottom of the barrel was literally sucked in. popped right out when i opened the barrel. anyone know what that was about? i hate i didn't take a picture before and after i busted this up but it sure has come a long way in 5 days. my husband was shocked. he kept looking at me like i was lying about which rock this was. got so excited about the way they were looking that i forgot to put water in the barrel when i recharged it. thank goodness i remembered when i put water in the rose quartz and corrected this! here's the rose quartz at 1st recharge: kim

you have to have a website that you can put your pictures on then when you are typing your message here you click on the insert image icon and it will put some text in your message - . you go to your website picture and copy the url address of the picture from the http to the type image like jpg. my webpage has a statement under the picture that says something like - if you are posting this picture to a website place the following address in its entirity... and then they provide the address so i just highlight it and click copy. then i come back to my message here and highlight the letters URL and click paste and my photo address replaces the letters URL. then when i post the message the picture shows up. donwrob i think had explained it in an earlier post in terms i could finally comprehend. i had access to a free website through my internet connection service but didn't know it. when my sister was home for christmas she created the website for me. she created it for our business but there's very little business stuff on it - mostly rocks ;D. let me go see if i can find that earlier post that helped me to understand. kim

Thanks Kim, I went back to look for that post, so I wouldn't have to try and re-write it again and couldn't find it. But you did a nice job of explaining it yourself. And yes, if anyone would like a pic posted on here and doesn't have a place on the net to store it and pull the URL from, I have plenty of room on my photo site and don't mind doing it. Like Kim said, just e-mail me the pic (.jpg's are best) and I'll take care of it. Happy tumbling all, Don {donwrob317@aol.com}

LIKE THE ROSE QUARTZ! ONE QUESTION...DOES YOUR QUARTZ HAVE A LOT OF FRACTURE LINES IN THEM? ALSO ON E-BAY THERE IS A GUY NAMED MASTER-BLASTER BOOM BOOM THAT HAS BEEN SELLING LOTS OF ROSE QUARTZ. THAT IS WHERE I GOT MINE AND I THINK THEY LOOK GREAT. ALSO WHAT U SEE IS WHAT U GET. WHICH IS GOOD-----BRETT ;D

i got the rose quartz from the rockshed. i didn't examine them last night real hard for fractures. on tuesday i'll check them again and recharge or move to next step and i'll look real close for fractures. the rock i got from the rockshed was good quality. of course, i could have fractured some of them myself hammering the ones i thought were too big. but it had to be done to get a good mix of sizes.

Nice pics rocky. I too have rose quartz tumbling. Been in 5 days today. As far as the fractures go, I too noticed some fractures in my rose quartz. I purchased mine from Frank's Mine Tours. But they still look good.
