in that article sandsman gave a link to under the thread "one more thing of interest....." it said the pinkish coloring in cerium is caused from impurities in the cerium. mine is certainly a pinkish tan. does the cerium y'all have have a pink color to it?

yea mine is its like a pinkish tan kinda colorhahaha i woulda said beigh but i cant spell it hahaha ok seeya ---john

Heheh, I can't spell bayge, scratch that, beige either John, HEY that last one doesn't look bad...might be right ;D hehe. Yep, the pinkish tan cerium is all I've ever used. I think it is called optical grade. And it works great for most rocks, you'll be happy with the shine it gives you Kim. I almost guarentee it! Later, Don
