I finally got some pictures uploaded to Photobucket so figured I'd post what I had so far. Sorry Brent but had to post the stuck truck ones. I know beating a dead horse so to speak so will leave it with the pics. Look forward to more adventures next time. Brent's truck stuck in the wash. He left his mark. Picture from the road on the way back to camp I didn't get any of the truck after the incident (none the worse for wear). Thanks to Mike (a soon to be member) for getting him out. I'll get some more pics posted soon right now Photobucket isn't cooperating for me. Diane

Little hint, don't drive through sand with 2 wheel drive. lol Tony got stuck at one point but put it in 4 wheel to get us out. Of course we had Stan behind us and he has winches on the front and back of his pickup.

Easy way to get through sand is to let the air out of your tires down to 20 or even 18 lbs pressure. That's the way we do it for Cape Hatteras beach driving. Some two-wheels can still make it that way and the four-wheel drives do it to make sure they can get around. Looks like you guys knew what to do and handled it perfectly!

Awwwww looks like all kinds of fun. Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I really wanted to be there and seeing all the smiling faces and that familiar campsight made me even more burro-creek-sick. BTW, you got no sympathy about the temperature there. I was in Cleveland OH on business all month (why I couldn't make it) where it was in the 20's most of the time...teens and single digits at night! At least I was in a cozy hotel room ;D not a tent like you guys. THanks everyone for posting all the wonderful picures! Steve

I have changed my mind on another Burro Creek. I don't think I will be working on any more get togethers. Don't think I will attend either. It was good seeing everyone though.

Thanks for everything you did Sheri, but it looks like I missed something, too. Hope it is nothing too serious.

I didn't mean to upset anyone or cause any trouble. I simply made the decision not to organize or attend any get togethers. Do I have to have a reason, and if I do.....do I have to tell you? I don't think so. I guess when I said for you guys to take care it came accross as if I was leaving. I am not leaving. I am sorry it came accross like that. I just meant for all of the Burro Creek attendees to take care and stay safe. Nothing more. Anywho, once again I will say for everyone to be home safe and hope you stay safe, does that sound better? Whatever happened in Burro Creek will stay there. I choose not to dicuss the matter any further.

You, Sheri, are one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know, the last two posts are totally out of character for you. You don't have to have a reason if you have decided not to be a part of any more field trips but you were certainly enthusiastic and seemed to have enjoyed yourself the way everyone else did so this 360 in your attitude is a big surprise to the rest of us.
Only a select few have the organizational skills you have so if you aren't going to be a part of any future trips we will be planning some disasterous get-togethers. You are the hostess with the mostess my Dear
Oh, PS, I'd like to challenge you to a game of bowling or tennis!! Maybe after the show tomorrow? Tooshey!

Hey Sheri, I just want to say that you did a wonderful job getting this together and because of it, I have memories that will last me a lifetime. Meeting you was special and I am thankful for it. Whatever it is, I hope you realize that you have touch many lives with your kind heart.
However it happens, I look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future. You rock!

I've got a good one of Sherri. Got them into photobucket and now just have to find the time to post them. I should get them up this weekend but I'll start another thread since this one has become a bit of a downer.
