Much has been said of the importance of using a different barrel for every stage. No doubt many like me had thought of just being really really thourough with the cleaning. I use the hard pipe barrells, but they are not quite as hard as you may think. Clean one out afetr doing 80 grit, scrub it, brush, wipe , scour it whatever you like, then geg a magnyfying lens or a 10x loupe and take a look at the inner surface, you will see the grit embedded into the plastic, now imagine your stones going into the same barrel in polish phase....get the picture. sorry to cover old ground but it's probably the most basic problem that is easily corrected to avoid dissapontment, anf there are probably a lot of newcomers here so feel it worth a mention. cheers

i never realy thought about it stickin into the barrel to it yes but good info cant realy see it all with the naked eye thanks---john
