Looks like some sort of Saran wrap or possibly Glad wrap covering a rock. ;D Hehe, just kidding. Nope, no idea what the rock is, looks like an agate. That is as close as I can guess. Sorry, I'm no help at all am I? It is very pretty though. Don

Definitely a chunk of plume agate, but you rarely see the yellow inclusions...no idea what that is, but it's pretty cool!

the yellow part is very soft i can scrape it out with a utility knife. the whiteish parts seemed like quartz to me. and there is redish bands in side of it. have been lucky lately my lortone 45c was from a customer and this rock is from a set of book ends which weigh 4.5 lbs each from a another customer one of which i've smashed with the hammer. going to try and tumble them

Soft yellow stuff, eh? Sounds like sulfur...or gold. The other part looks like conventional agate. If you tumbled it, the soft part would almost certainly grind out, but I suspect the rest would polish up well. Really hard to say. Might as well toss it into the roller and find out.

Looks to me like a cross section of a birthday cake with yellow icing. ;D It even still has the Saran Wrap on it! Lol, I crack myself up sometimes.
