I was asked to post some pics of the crystal plates I find so here you are Some that I have not soaked in Iron Out yet most of the plates I find have a Iron stain on them so you really don't know what you have until you soak them .These plates have crystals on all sides This one is over 3 ft long Amethyst with drusey crystals Smokey Quartz Quartz Crystals Hope you like the pics! Thanks Curt, I dig them at the Diamond Hill Mine in Antreville, S.C. When they had the machine dig there last spring they found some Amethyst and Smokey plates that weighed hundreds of pounds. Keith

I have had the good fortune of seeing those in person. Believe me, the pics don't do them justice at all. They are fantastic! I hope this spring I can find some like that myself.

OMG!! They're gorgeous! It must be really exciting finding something like that. Cleaning them to see what exactly it is would be the icing on the cake.
