Just an opinion thing here - maybe since the 'L' covers so much of the stone, the little curls that come down form the top can be bent up so they don't cover it. Just a thought. The blue lace is beautiful.

I don't think that it's too much, or that it covers too much of the stone. Since the stone is monochromatic, the wire doesn't hide anything. Very cool, and very classy!!
