So I've been playing with my vibratory lapper I got from my local lapidary's garage sale, and I'd like to make some bookends. I am absolutely in love with picture jasper, especially with the blue in it. Does anyone have any rough chunks about the right size to quarter up and make 2 sets of bookends from? I'd like some with blue in it, but it doesn't need to be a proper desert scene that would be better used for cabs, obviously. Not like a big chunk like that would be in my budget anyway Thought I'd toss that out and see if anyone had a chunk laying around that had no plans for and would let go for a good price. Thanks!!

How exciting I'd like the finished bookends to be about 6-7 inches tall and about 4-6 inches wide, so I guess I'm looking for a chunk that is about 12-ish by 8-ish by 8-ish, to be able to quarter nicely to form 2 sets of bookends. If a piece that large would be unaffordable, 2 chunks that are around 7x6x6(-ish) would work too. My e-mail is chaddoo(at)gmail[dot]com if that's easier for you. I haven't done a lot of buying large rough, so if you could do your best to estimate what kind of cost and shipping from wherever you are I could reasonably expect I'd appreciate it! My zip is 46902. Thanks everyone, can't wait to see what you have... picture jasper is my favorite stuff!
