Some of the effects are very nice, but try to vote for the best composition of color, pattern, shape, and size. Set#1 Set#2 Set#3 Set#4 Voting will close next Sat or after three day of no more votes. You are encouraged to post a comment about what factors helped you decide. Everyone who posts a comment with some discussion of what worked for them, will be entered to win a slab of their own in a random drawing.

I'll start the discussion. I love the printstones in Sets #1 & #4. The Owyhee round in Set #2 is great - it looks like palm trees and sand dunes. The smoking volcano in set #3 has the best way to use the picture jasper slab. I like the gray dunes with red sky in sets #1 & #2.
With so much to like, picking the best set is difficult. I'm leaning towards #1 because it has 2 favorites, but I really really like the volcano in #3.
I'll vote after a few others get to weigh in.

That volcano cab is great indeed, looks like St Hellens bursting not through its peak but on one slope. The rectangle prinstone with the pattern outlining one diagonal is the best I think.

Thanks for the contest , Daniel . i thought that you would get more contestants . that being said i think if there were more . it would be extremely tougher to decide . i an not voting for a few days . it be easy to just vote for myself . even though one cab in particular is my overall favorite . i am partial to the dagger in #4 there are other extemely good representations : i also really like the shape of top right in #1 the circle in #2 the volcano in #3 as well as the far right dagger in #4 and the photoshop work on #'s 1 & 3 look like real cabs Good luck to all ! -----paul

I like the second one in on set #2, the spear on set #4, the tiger stripes on set #3, and the redrocks silhouette in set#1. This was a great contest, everyone is so talented. Good luck everyone!

Well, no new votes for a while.
Let's call this for set #3. Go Nancy! PM me an address to send the slab.
Only 3 people posted their thought process, so rather than have a random drawing, I can send each of you a slab. PM me your address.
Adrian, given the postal rates, I think I will send a few slabs. Things I have a lot of or am slow to work. I figure I will see you posting a finished cab sooner than I would. Give me a little time to go through an pull a few things.
Good fun guys!

Congrats Nancy! me too, I thought your compositions were the best. Dan, thank you! This is quite a surprise. When I read in your post "...given the postal rates..." I thought you would ask me if it's OK to skip me. And it would had been, but then again it would be great to have some slabs from you. Take your time and thank you again.
