I bought some twisted wire. Very happy with the results. Question, what is the best way to photograph wraps? Mine never show the color of the stone too well. Outside is too bright inside is too dark. I have a good digital camera. Any suggestions? A picture jasper Snowflake agate found locally More snowflake agate. not sure what this is, a slab I bought at a rock show. Same slab. more snowflake agate tumbled this time. What do you think? Actually once posted, the photos I took outside in the sun look great here.

I think your wraps are fantastic. Great work.
As far as taking photos, if the sunlight is too bright, maybe use a filter of some sort. Maybe tissue paper. You know, something to soften the light.

Those look really good. I especially like the gold copper combo. Although my favorite is number 2. That snowflake agate is beautiful. You might try different background colors on the outside shots. I find that sometimes certain colors of backgrounds help set off the colors in the different stones. Your pictures look good to me though.

Thanks. Snow flake agate can be challenging to polish. Sometimes the snowflakes will leave pits or dull spots in the surface. But when it works, it looks great. I find it locally here Just west of Jerome Arizona. Just lying around on the surface all over the place. Comes in Blue, pink, grey, white and red. But the red is usually very cracked. Usually more than one color in the same rock. Some pieces look very cosmic. Like a nebula swirled with stars. I'll have to take some pics of some nice cabs.
