We're needing to get rid of some of our rocks. I have a lot of rough and am putting boxes together with a $30 price tag. That is less than One dollar a pound with the flat rate shipping included. We have been out of the loop for some time, but some of the 'Old Timers' here will vouch for the material we sell. Any payment can be made via Paypal to banjocreek@hotmail.com for $30 and a box will be shipped same day. There will be a few slabs thrown it to take up space and these are a great size for a saw or smashing up to tumble Take care! Questions, comments? banjocreek@hotmail.com

LOL, isn't $30/20 more than a dollar per pound. But from the look of that sample box - more than worth the price. Unfortunately I'm cashless for the foreseeable future... I'll send you a pm when I'm back in the market and see if you have anyhting left.

Banjo has been around for a very long time! They are great people and send fantastic boxes. I can vouch for them! I have met them in person and their rough is top quality!!

Well, if you consider that the boxes are 20 pounds plus, that means they weigh more than 20. If you deduct the shipping which is 10.00 that makes it $20.00 a box so under those circumstances - yes, that would make it just under $1.00 a pound! ;D And I would love to order some but I too do not have the available funds to do so, doggone it all!! I don't know about you, Donnie, but I include shipping in the price of the rocks - I still have to pay it. But I was just making a joke about about math. I'd buy 2 or 3 boxes at that price right now - if I had a job.

Banjo has great material. I bought a box of Graveyard Point material for doublets some time ago and they took the time to hand pick all of it to make sure the agate base was clear enough for doublets. Great people, customer service and top notch rocks.

My "very first ever" tumble rough came from Banjo. (he also inspired me to learn how to wire wrap)

Are the pieces small enough to be cut with a 7" saw?

The pieces I send tend to be about fist sized to accommodate a 6-10" saw. I can go larger or smaller as I have a few tons of mish-mash from a rock shop that sold out years ago. I work on slabs, cabs and jewelry most of all now. BTW- Thanks Randy! I check in to see your stuff every so often. Right now I am involved in 'teaching' wire wrapping since shows have slowed down. You turn out some great art, my friend. Happy to have been a part of your success.

Thanks bud! Would you believe that I teach it now as well? Yep, the Tidewater Gem and Mineral Society has a workshop once a month so I teach a table of 6 per class. I love this stuff!

I just got my box yesterday. In fact, I think I may have gotten the one shown above -- I recognize some of the slabs and slabbettes. It was crammed to bursting and must weight at least 25 lbs. Banjo managed to fill every square inch of the box. And it is great looking material -- I'm particularly excited about a nice hunk of graveyard plume. Cannot wait to get it on the saw.
Thanks again, Banjo, for another great deal.
