I wanted to find something new and different? maybe a little interesting? here ya go............ These are all 18x13 faceted cubic zirconia birthstones, and can be found in my Etsy store for 15.00 each. Wrapping the faceted stones was not a lot harder that cabs, but a little bit. The main thing was to control the stone while trying to get the bail binding on it. Thanks for lookin! Marie

The stones are covered up a bit much for my taste - you know me, Marie. But the wraps are very well done. Really great work.

Very nice, Marie. I can sympathise with the problem of binding the bail on little things like that - I try hard to stay away from them! You really made some intricate, delicate, SMALL swirlies on these - I'd have to have a loupe to even see them!

Those look great!! I think I like the second one best because of the way you did the swirls. All three are beautifully done!!

My favorite is the first one, don't ask me why because I don't even know.

Very nice Marie. I like how the light sparkles off the facets. It sets off the silver wire nicely.

thanks you guys! I think I like working with them, not better than cabs, but I like the look of them. Todd....I know how picky you are, but try to understand how small these stones are, and this the first time I have ever worked with them. I think the prong style works best....as far as showing off the stone...but I like the others too...soooooooooo Thanks again!! Marie

Marie - I understand how tiny they are - and you did a great job. You are the true artist here - I'm just a critic that likes looking at art. I could never do what you are doing. Just because these particular wraps aren't to my taste doesn't mean I can't appreciate the artistry - I do. You're an outstanding artisan and these are fine pieces.

Todd....I didn't mean to sound "off" or anything. I know you appreciate what I do. I thank you for saying so.... Haleysdream/bushman - thank you for the kind words......it's always nice to hear that something someone does "works" ya know? Thank you again. Jo- These stones are so small, and don't take a lot of time for me, or a lot of wire either, so I felt if I went much higher on the prices, people would definetely scoff, and they would never sell! Can't have them sitting, like some of my other stuff in the shop!! LOL Anyways, thank you for saying so.....sales are slow, so need to price things to sell.
EVERYONE - I have been contacted (random thing I think) by a lady in the twin cities who wants to feature my jewelry on her upcoming cancer benefit website. Whether this actually comes about or not, is yet to be seen, but I thought it was rather an exciting thing to get the email and a follow up phone call! Hence..,..yet another reason I am trying some new things in new colors.....do you know how many colors represent different types of cancer? !!! I had no idea!!!! Google colors of cancer...it's unbelieveable!
Anyways! I have posted 3 more this morning in my shop, they will show up on the 1st page, if your interested in seeing what I did different with those 3. I promise...they aren't like these 3 at all!! Thanks again for all the positive reinforcements!!! I truly appreciate you ALL!! Marie
