wELL ITS MONDAY AND ANOTHER WEEK OF GOING TO WORK. YUCK! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCK PLASTIC PELLETS TO PUT IN? I HAVE A LORTONE 66 AND THE MIX AGATE THAT I AM TUMBLING IS READY FOR THE SECOND STAGE. ROCKS ARE WORN DOWN TO FILL HALF OF THE BARREL SO I ADDED MY PELLETD TO IT IS CLOSE TO 2/3-3/4 FULL. I CHECKED IT AND IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT HAS TO MUCH PELLETS IN IT TO MOVE CORRECTLY. LET ME HEAR WHAT U THINK

I had the samething happen with my first batch. The more my rocks ground down the more pellets I had to add. If you go to my post about my first batch you will see that they turned out just fine.

General guideline is 15-20% max pellets. I personally don't pay any attention to that. I just go with what "looks good" to me. If I'm particularly afraid of impact damage, I will run a lot more plastic. Hope this helps.
