And, I like it! Here are my first three attempts with the wire, 21ga ds ss square wire, with 21ga hh ss half-round bindings. I got a little carried away with the bail neck on one, lol!! Also, one of the wraps is my first ever opal. I am very happy with how it came out. It is hard to get a picture that shows all the color, but, at least I got some of it to show. This opal is some low grade beginners opal, so I am probably lucky it has much color at all. I look forward to trying some more of it! Enjoy; The back; A very long necked marfa plume; A bit of chrysocolla; Thanks for looking! Mike

Hey, Mike, it looks like you are having a great time with the dead soft wire--and I'm sure your fingers are thanking you. Your wraps are great--you have some very creative twists there. Susan

Those all look really good! I may try dead soft again for delicate stone but I generally ding it pretty good so I have been using HH for a long time.

Very nice, I'd say that last one is my favorite. I'm glad you like the dead-soft wire. I like it too.

They all look fantastic! I am wondering how you are getting that chrysocola to stay in the wrap at the bottom. Is that a groove wrap combination? Fran

Yes Fran, the chrysacolla is a groove wrap, I just used a really long piece of wire so that I could try wrapping it like that. The wire swirls on it are an idea I got the other day. I just have not figured out a good way to end the swirls. The way I did it is pretty much my best idea for that right now. May not be practical for wearable stuff, but it looks cool though!

These look great. The chrysocolla is my favorite also. Like how you are being careful with the ends; I think you ended these well. Jo
