:-/If there is one I have been looking at two sites a lot for info, and wire: 1. Wire-sculpture, used to be Preston Ruether, and I bought a DVD, and some basic items. He has a new site now. 2, And of course the new? wire-sculpture with "Cougar". Her stuff is somewhat different. I do like her designs, and info. My question is does anyone else follow these guys? I notice a lot of curls and covering stone with Preston's work. Who be sides the great info on this site do you all check out for info? Thanks for any feedback. Ed

I have a book by Jim McIntosh that is called Wire Wrapping: The Basics and Beyond. It is very well done and has step by step pictures that can help you through. With that, I then check out this board and see other creative ideas that I can add to this book of instruction. Fran

The tutorials posted here are free - and the people who took the time to write them are available and willing to answer any and all questions. Randy (BikerRandy) and Marie (Superioragates) are two that jump to mind - they do fantastic work in different styles. There are many others as well. Look at the pics, see what you like, and ask them questions.

I was also going to say Jim McIntosh. But the true wealth of information is right here, just as Toad just pointed out & they are more than willing to critique you & give you tips.

there are many good books and tutorials out there. Wire Artist Magazine, now out of print, but copies are still for sale were a good source for projects for beginners and advanced. I think one of the best books for beginners was Moods in Wire. It has been around for a long time and offers a good variety of easier projects to get started. It is still my favourite book for a refresher.

On wrapping rings, I found Tumbleweed Glass studio to have a really good dvd . Very step by step, easy to understand- worth the 20 I paid.
On wrapping pendants, here. I started with Randy's tutorial then got some wire, cheap to start brass that sort- questions, here. IMO the best teachers are here.
