What size are the rings? Hard to work with means hard to open, close? Donnie

It's a good deal. I have read the Stainless is hard to open and close because they are so much harder. I too am trying to learn chain maille but think I'll stick with the other metals, I have a hard enough time with those. How long has your wife been doing this? I have managed a "Helms" chain and I am now doing a "Full Persian". I really wish I would quit experimenting with things to do ;D

That is very pretty. I am having trouble with the 5/32. Could you tell me in mm please. The gauge being the thickness, right? That wouldn't be too heavy to ship first class, would it? that way the shipping wouldn't be too much. BTW I think I want them. Don't know what I will do with them but since they are black I'm thinking they would come in handy for something besides chain maille. Thanks - Donnie

No I haven't. I really just started trying to do this. The two mentioned above is it. I did the "helms" then I got a small pkg. of copper and mixed colors. So I am doing the "full Persian" in copper and black. I have run out of black tho at about the halfway point, so it will remain unfinished until I get more rings. I only started doing this to have chains for some of the metal work pendants I am also trying to learn to do. I am finding it relaxing once I get past that first inch of trying to figure out where the rings go. That and trying to hold on to the rings at the beginning is very frustrating. After struggling for awhile it all seems to click in. I will post photos in "Creations" later today.
