See the tree? ;D Cathy already claimed it...... She claimed this one too...... My boss's grandmother moved to Texas and left her rock collection behind so he gave them to me. There was several pieces of Amazonite included so I cut one for his wife..... How did I do? ;D

Man those are really nice, especially the first one. The second looks like purple agate from Burro Creek?

Burro Creek is what I thought at first, but said that it was something different.

Very nice work Randy. I can't blame the missus for taking that first one, it's really nice.
How did the amazonite work? I think I got a slab of that last month and it seems really soft and fragile.

Amazonite is fairly easy to work with as long as it's cut right, otherwise it will chip and crack will grinding. If it's cut right, you should already see some flash in it.

Nice work there Randy .That first one looks like Amethyst Sage? It is a nice one what ever it is. My wife would have taken it from me as well..

Amethyst sage is a possibility, I've got some that looks just like this one. This is actually one of my favorite cabs out of all the cabs I've cut. I was hoping that she'd want it, because this way I still get to see it!

The 1st is my favorite as well - super shine and pattern. I won't even comment on the wraps, 'cause you already know you're AWESOME!
Nice job.

Very nice as always. That could be Burro creek agate. I finally got mine to stay on the stick. Will wrap it soon and post it. It looks very similar to that.
