I may have got just a bit carried away.  My intent was to cover the spot on the face that looked like grey clouds, and I just kept going!! On these pics, I tried under exposing just a bit to see if I could get the colors to come out better. Looks like I did a little, but still need more practice. Ta Daa..  Ok, so maybe I will start doing a little more sanding and polishing the back...  One more from the front.  Thanks for looking; Mike |

Great job on wrapping it, the stone is very small it seems. It came out beautiful. You hid very well the "dark cloud" too, although in my opinion this was not a deffect to be hidden.
I like the purple spot in the last pic.

The wrap is great Mike. I also agree with Adrian, that dark spot wasn't really taking away from the stone. I think it ads character.

Very pretty  yup, flaws add character, but if you hadn't said you were hiding the flaw I wouldn't have noticed and thought it just more decoration. Krista |

Great looking wrap, you did a nice job hiding your cloud. You did a pretty good job of capturing the colors too, that's hard to do on a picture. Try a video its way easier to show colors/flash on. Just send them to photobucket same as a picture.

Nice! You cabbed that? I still have a small bag of opals that I've been scared to grind on but I'll get brave soon. You did a great job on the wire  I also use wire to hide flaws in the stone, wire adds character too! ;D |

yup, flaws add character, but if you hadn't said you were hiding the flaw I wouldn't have noticed and thought it just more decoration.
