Abby was bored today, so we decided to try some wrapping. I'm certainly no expert, and as artistic as she is, she needed little help. We used the half hard 22 ga square and 21 ga half round copper. Abby cut this cab a while ago. It's root beer agate from joemojave. Although it's not perfect, she did a great job on it. Now it finally got wrapped, and I think she did a fine job for her first go at it. Here she is wrapping And here's the close up of the final product. Abby modeling the wrap I wrapped a white agate I cabbed quite a while ago. We both finished about the same time. Took us about an hour. Thanks for looking. Nate

Very cool. Looks like she has a great start. Hope she enjoys it enough to keep at it.

Abby's wrap has a very rustic look, kinda like barbed wire. It's neatly done and really cool!!

Diane, I think she enjoys it more than me. For me it's a fight to get it done, she just goes with the flow. I'm sure she'll do more, and get better with every one. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
Randy, Abby said "Wow, yeah! It does look like barbed wire... Cool!" LOL. Thanks for the kind comments.

That is wonderful that you both got to sit down and get a wrap done! She did a great job with her first! I agree with Randy. It has a kind of barbed wire look at the top and as long as she doesn't poke herself with it, it is a cool one to wear! you did a great job too! Fran

Thank you Fran. I told her we need to keep an eye on the wir eends. We may need to roll them over a little.
Thank you too, Jo. Remember the cab I was gonna post that she made? Well, there it is lol.

Abbey, I love the way you brought the wires over the front of the cab. Both wraps look great. Like father, like daughter. WTG both of you.

Thanks everyone. Abby's very proud of her wrap. She wore it to school today and said she got lots of comments on it. She said her art teacher, who's a huge influence to her, especially liked it! I'm sure there'll be more to come.
