for some reason i see nowhere to reply on your post of the rocks you found. looks like you'll be busy for awhile. must be nice to live close to an area where you can find good rock. all the pics of rocks you've posted have been beautiful so i'm sure you'll do justice to these too. what are your plans for them?
that angel has gotten her feet dirty. she could use a little polish up too! ;D

Those are great huge specimins, and I'd love to see some slabs off of it. James; Could you post some pics once you get in to it? I'll also bet that was one heck of a work out getting it back to the vehicle, huh? Thanks for sharing, its cool to see what this stuff looks like on the outside, before it gets broken into. You gonna start by just slicing it in half? ;D -Just kidding-

Thanks guys! I don't know what happened to my post... I can't edit it or reply to it either. Maybe Andy would know what happened? Anyhow, I plan on tumbling some of it in my 15 lb tumbler. The rest I'll sell on ebay or something. If anybody wants some, let me know. I will definitly post pictures in the future as it comes along. Earlier today, I tried to break apart some of the bolder but it was too damn hard. This is one solid rock! I'm gonna have to take the sledge hammer to it on my next day off. I thought that the trip back to my car was hard. That was the easy part. P.S. I think I'll clean up that angel to while I'm at it too.

Yea! I use a cold chisel with a guard on it or I would be typing this with one hand.
