I finally got a chance to take a few pictures of my most recent wraps. The first is one of the Labradorite cabs from Tonyt and the other is a crazy lace I got from somewhere, can't remember. Labradorite in sterling silver a better picture showing the blue sheen on the labradorite cab Crazy Lace in sterling silver I went a little crazy on the lace wrap and tried something different. I'm not sure I like it but I didn't want to unwrap it and scrap the wire. It just looks strange but maybe just because it's different from my usual wraps. What do you think? Thanks for looking. Diane

I like the last one with the swirly thingies. If it was mine, I'd hang some beads & stuff off of them - but that's me, I tend to be a little excessive.

I would like No. 2 for a small stone. Although usually I don't like that much "frill," there is a place (especially on small stones) for an extra bit of whimsey every now and then!

They're both very nice Diane. I like the extras on the lace wrap too.

I like them both, but I like the Crazy lace. I don't think it is too excessive. It is crazy like the stone. If I cover the swirlies on the sides with my fingers, it looks too plain. Keep them.

Great job on both. I think you brought out the swirly pattern in the stone with the swirls in the wire on the second one.

Thank you Amy and Lori, the swirlies have it...lol. They will stay. It was a hard wrap to do anyway so I'd hate to have to tear it apart anyway...lol. Tigereyes, I hope that eventually they will find a neck to call home. For now I put them in baggies and wear them when I am not working and remember to put one on when I go out.
Thank you all again for the compliments, they sure help me to keep wrapping.

Diane, you did a great job on these. That flash in the labradorite is so hard to capture. I like what you did with the second one. I have no flare like that so always enjoy seeing others designs. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Roger, Ron, and Tony.
I agree, Tony, that flash is very hard to try to capture in pictures. You did a great job on that cab.

Both look great, I really like the first one best though. It's simple, but very clean. Looking closely, it's actually perfect EDIT: Wow, I also noticed that this was posted 9 days ago, not sure how I missed it! lol
