Hi, everyone! A few weeks ago Sara - Moondragon told me she'd sent me a tumbled rock which resembles to a buffalo. She knew about my daughter's Ioana passion for buffalos. Today the box arrived. That rock resembles indeed to a buffalo silouhette. As you see, Sara added a very nice bear totem. Ioana loves them both, and she sends her thanks to you, Sara! Oh, and this was not all; in fact, this was only the top of the iceberg: there were much more rocks in the box, each of them so beautiful: The Arizona pet wood, the mookaite and the pigeon blood are among my top favorites. And the story of this box does not end here: when I picked it from the post office I noticed this yellow label: Yep! Go figure! It almost traveled around the world! And even if it arrived in Australia by mistake, it was thoroughly checked. They even added some instructions with the items which cannot be mailed there. Too bad they didn't think about adding some cool Australian rocks ;D Or maybe the Mookaite is from them? Thank you so much Sara, there's not only the rocks I cherish, but also the fact that you thought on sending them to us. Thanks all for looking, Adrian

LOL You are most welcome and I am glad you like what I sent. You give so much to all of us, it was good to give to you. That dang box .... it was supposed to go directly to Romania via airmail and what happens instead it takes a slow trip to Australia. The least it could have done was bring to you and send to me some Boulder Opal:) Life is good:)

If only that box could talk! How on earth did they send it to a totally wrong country?! Seems like the Australian inspectors could have realized it was in the wrong country and sent it on earlier...At least you got it! Beautiful slabs and wonderful treats for Ioana! That was a nice gift! Fran

Well that explains the kangaroo hair I found in a box last month!
Neat box full of goodies. Tony

Remember those quizes they do with American school kids? Ask questions like what country borders the US to the north, and they answer Mexico. Those kids, are now working for the snail mail department. Woody

Oh my, that is too funny! Good thing those postal inspectors weren't closet rockhounds. WTG Sara! So happy for you, Adrian! Jo

The funny thing to me is that the Noreena Jasper in there comes from Australia, so it made a complete round trip, which is cool for a rock from overseas.

WOW that is too funny, I am just so glad that the very thoughtful box founds its way to you! Last year Fundy sent me slabs and we mailed him cabs back he said he never got them, well here they went to Scotland and then to Nova Scotia, go figure it took 6 weeks, LOL. Amber
