I wanted to say hello from Virginia. I am fairly new to wirework and never have I done rock tumbling. I just got a tumbler though so you never know! I am excited to see that there are a lot of folks who post here. Glad to "meet you"!

Welcome to the forum. Are you using the tumbler to harden your wire then?

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Randy i am from Roanoke. And John yep, i am hardening and polishing my wire. But i want to try tumbling too. It will just be a while before i can afford to get into that too. So far all i have done is wirework with copper and silver. But the bu has bitten me pretty hard and i love it. I look forward to getting to know you!

You will probably want to buy different barrels for rocks and keep your metal barrels just for that.
