My buddie's daughter found this in her backyard, it's a lavender-albino California Kingsnake (obviously an escaped pet). She said that if I wanted it, I could have it so I took her up on this and gave it to my oldest daughter. It's very gentle and really cool looking, check it out......

Wow, what a gorgeous beast! Is it completely normal other than pigmentation? Ie, it's not blind or anything, is it? It sure is nice! I bet your daughter loves it for sure!

The California King Snakes make great pets. I had several as a kid growing up out there. The Rosy Boa makes a nice pet too. Neither gets too big for a kid to handle. Don

Tom- yep, totally normal. I've had several kingsnakes as well (eastern kingsnakes). Right now I have a Savu python (from New Guinea) and a Ball python. They're both awesome pets as well.

Randy is a good pet owner. He takes his snakes for a walk every evening. Jo

While stationed in Scotland, I had 2 reticulated pythons. Used to love meeting traveling salesmen at the door with the big one, ( 8' ), wrapped around me. Customs wouldn't let me bring them home, so I donated them to the London zoo. Don
