The story................
It all started this past Christmas. "Santa" got my oldest boy (7 yrs) a Lortone 33B as one of his gifts. Well in no time my other son (4 yrs at the time) wanted in on it too, or was it Dad, that wanted another tumbler, so we got another Lortone 33B, Well that led to me getting 2 more Used 33B (one as a spare). Then a 33A. Well my son has ADHD and my wife says that I have it too, so we couldn't wait on things, so we had to get more. I then got a New Lortone QT-12. And then a Used QT-NR (QT-66) and another Used QT-NR (QT-12). Oh, some where in there I got a used CE vibe, that I tried once and now sits in the box. I came across an UV-18 IND Used on eBay at a great price. WOW does it take a lot of rocks to fill that UV-18. We have running right now in Stage 1, 4-3 lbs.. 1-6 lbs., & 2-12 lbs barrels.
Today I picked a used Lortone TS8 Trim Saw.
So out list of equipment now is as follows:
4 - Lortone 33B (2-new & 2 Used, 1 as spare)
1 -Lortone 33A
1 - Lortone Used QT-NR (QT-66)
1 - Lortone Used QT-NR (QT-12)
1 - Lortone New QT-12
1 - Lortone TS8 Trim Saw User
1 - CE Vibe (not using at this time)
1 - UV-18 IND
1 - UV-10 IND barrel for polish only to use with the UV-18
Separate 3 lb barrels for each stage (4-stage 1, 2-stage 2, 1-stage 4, 1-stage 5, & 1 spare)
Separate 6 lb barrels for each stage 1-4.
Hardness kit
and so very very much more...............
Oh and 100-150 pounds of rough rocks to play with.
Think we went overboard??? ;D LOL
My wife thinks so, but it is my way to un-wind at the end of the day. Get the boys to bed and head out to the garage with a glass or 2 of Merlot
My wife says we have enough rocks now, but she is now getting into thinking about what jewelry we can make with the polish rocks. The boys and I made necklaces for their teachers as end of the school years gifts. My wife helped picked which rocks we should use and which chains.
When I find some time I'll post some pictures. I also have to find time Make stuff out of the finished rocks.

As a side note, thanks to the folks on this board I have learned a lot in a very short time. Everyone shares so much to all.
