Is there anywhere else other than Ebay to sell high quality rock? I have my best AAA rock left to get rid of but most of my money is tied up in it so I need to get as much as I can for it. Ebay costs so darn much money................anywhere else that you guys no of?? Thanks a bunch!!

I've gone to a few other places to buy, but it seems that they were pretty tiny. I always end up back on eBay - it's just a bigger market. Hopefully someone can help you out better than I.

List it for sale here with the price you want for it and pictures. Also, try your local lapidary clubs.

You might try craigslist ... I often see lapidary stuff, slabs, and rough on craigslist.

Another vote for post your mineral specimens here first!
Another option may be getting a table/booth at mineral shows. I don't know how much of a collection you are talking about wanting to sell, but if it's small then a show may not be the way to go.
I agree that the eBay & Paypal fees have gotten out of hand, I hate paying over 10% to those thieves. How about someone that buys whole collections? You may have to sell a little low so thay they can resell at a profit, but they would buy the whole lot and that's less work for you.
I know Open-Adit on eBay says in his listings that he buys whole collections and he is in Tucson. I've seen other sellers on eBay that say that they buy collections, but I don't recall names offhand.

I will post pics next week! Going out of town to see my daughter for a week but will post pics when I get back. Most of what I have are mosses, plumes and bright colors. I have a crapload of possible fire agate but no fire showing yet. Don't know what to sell it for with no fire showing. It is real dark though.

I agree, post it here. Make your own E bay, Call it R-Bay. This would give everyone a crack at it and give you a fair price in return. :2cents:
